ACER PREDATOR 21 X REVIEW: OVERPOWERED OVERKILL Gaming laptop

Acer give a surprise in the IFA 2016 in Berlin Germany. The surprise is none other than the introduction of Acer Predator 21X products where notebook / laptop has been equipped with curved screen (curved screen) with size 21 inches. Perhaps Acer Predator 21X became the first notebook / laptop and the only one that has been equipped with curved screen as commonly found in television sets or monitors. Not only that, we ourselves can hardly imagine the size of this notebook / laptop gaming with 21-inch screen size. It would be more appropriate to call Acer Predator 21X as a desktop replacement rather than a laptop.

The curved screen has an image resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels ultrawide. Interestingly, the screen has been equipped NVIDIA G-SYNC dynamic refresh rate technology so the game experience experience more perfect thanks to the loss of symptoms of image tearing, input lag, and stuttering. Acer Predator 21X also features eye tracking technology from Tobii that allows a command in the game is controlled by using eye movements.

The Acer Predator 21X input device relies on a mechanical keyboard with a Cherry MX switch with RGB LED lights for each button. On the left side of the keybaord is a row of macro buttons to access certain commands quickly. Interestingly, on the right side of the keyboard is placed a special module for the numeric pad and touchpad. The module can be removed where the user can choose between two sides whether to use the touchpad or numeric pad.

Powered by two Core i 7th Generation K Series processors combined with two GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X graphics cards in the NVIDIA SLI configuration, the Acer Predator 21X is sure to be ready to prey on today's or future 3D games. Bringing the best play comfort to the maximum visual quality level is not a significant challenge for this "monster" gaming system. For memory / RAM capacity, this notebook / laptop should be able to accommodate up to 64 GB as well as the Skylake platform. Given the new high-performance Core i 7th Generation processor.

Taming processors and high performance graphics cards is not an easy matter. Therefore not strange if the cooling system Acer Predator 21X will be equipped with five blower type fan. The abundant heatpipe component is also used to ensure maximum heat transfer.

The Acer Predator 21X heat dissipation system is positioned on the back side of the notebook / laptop and left right side. Seen a number of connectors are placed on this side.

For now the selling price for this laptop is the range of Rp. 125 Million. And also this becomes my favorite Gaming Laptop.
